Julion Marrinan, Psy.D.
Julion is a licensed clinical health psychologist specializing in adults struggling with anxiety and panic disorder. He has extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Enhancement. He works with individuals who are willing to engage in therapy with the hopes of living a valued life.
He completed an internship at North Shore Medical Center where he provided psychiatric services to adults and adolescents in a partial hospitalization program. He also provided outpatient psychotherapy to patients presenting with major health deficiencies and/or serious physical injuries.
Julion serves as a vital member of clinical healthcare providers who are engaged in fighting the opioid crisis in south eastern Massachusetts. He utilizes contextual behavioral therapy strategies to assist patients who are struggling with substance and polysubstance use disorders.
Clinical interests: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational Frame Theory, Evolutionary Psychology, Gene Expression, and Supervising Doctoral Psychology Students.
